After transplanting the rice in the spring, the students then harvested the rice and hang it to dry in the fall.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, this week, when the rice was ready they used a traditional rice thresher to thresh the rice and collect it for it to be used in the future.<\/p>\n<p>This experience gives the students a great appreciation for what the rice farmers that make their rice must go
