After they learned the unit of meter, they tried cutting tape in the length that they think is 1m long.<\/p>\n<p>They then measured those pieces of tape and checked their lengths. They were so surprised to find the difference between what they thought and an actual 1m.<\/p>\n<p>After that, they measured a lot of things around them such as the width of the classroom door, the height of the locker and the width of the whiteboard.
