Today, we had a test. The children swam enthusiastically, aiming for the next level.<\/p>\n
In the Crab class, they had gotten used to putting their faces in the water and were able to jump without fear. They were also able to walk underwater while being watched over by their coach.<\/p>\n
In the frog class, the children are now eagerly attempting to stay face-down for 10 seconds. They are also now able to hold themselves upright while using a kickboard.<\/p>\n
In the 14th grade class, I’ve become better at swimming with my flutter kicks. I was able to swim by keeping my head firmly in the water and being conscious of using powerful flutter kicks without bending my knees. I was able to be conscious of not lifting my head in the middle of the swim.<\/p>\n
In the mixed class of 14th, 13th, 12th and 9th grades, we practiced arm rotation and breathing in the crawl. We were able to swim while being conscious of timing to take a breath while rotating our arms widely. In the 9th grade class, we practiced backstroke. In backstroke, we were able to practice being conscious of swimming straight while fluttering our feet.<\/p>\n
