This week in Arts and Crafts class the upper grade students started the new unit, Hikari to kage or Light and Shadow. In this unit, the students are using different objects to make creative shadow figures. This week we focused on making shadow figures in doors using a flashlight. The students had many creative ideas and all worked quickly and diligently to finish their designs. At the end of the class, each student displayed their projects and took photos. It was a very fun and interesting class. Next week, we will head outside to make some outdoor shadow figures.
