Today we went to Akashi Park and Hekinan Aquarium by bus. At Akashi Park the children rode the choo choo train, and played on the park’s big playground. We then had a picnic in the park, eating our lunch boxes and snacks on the wide lawn surrounding by changing autumn leaves. When we finished we went to Hekinan Aquarium. In the aquarium we walked around and looked at all the fish- many were specifically from the Mikawa Bay area. Outside we went to the pond to try and see the small fish and turtles. We were very fortunate to have such good weather today, and had a fantastic experience.
