We conducted a disaster preparedness drill simulating an earthquake, as well as student pickup drill. The 4-year-old class used the emergency evacuation slide for the first time this year; none of the children were afraid, and they were all able to evacuate calmly. Also, during the pickup drill, the children were able to wait quietly until their guardians arrived to collect them. For the next evacuation drill, I would like to ensure we approach it calmly while simulating an actual disaster.
