Today we’re celebrating the Japanese traditional sticky rice pounding. We all gathered outside and sang the sticky rice pounding song. The kids had fun cheering the kitchen personnel who were pounding it. After that we all went to our own classroom to eat sticky rice and special soup. They enjoyed the process of making it and eating lots of sticky rice.
