Activities centered on the theme of overseas cultures and arts. Children from the 3-year-old through 5-year-old classes formed mixed-age groups; the older children kindly assisted the younger ones, while the younger children followed the older ones’ lead as they engaged in the activities. Children in the 2-year-old class also enjoyed experiencing global cultures and lifestyles by observing and participating in the older children’s activities. On the final day, the older children tried their hand at cooking; they cut up their favorite fruits and froze juice to make fruit sorbet, which everyone enjoyed eating together. It was a time filled with wonderful summer memories.
