Swimming Class (November 2, 2022)
Kani level – The coach counted to 5, and the kids tried to hold their breath while submerging their face into the water. Many kids are now able to walk forward into the water even without the coaches’ help.
Kaeru level – The kids were taught how to float using a flutter board. They were taught to straighten their arms, lean their chin on the board, and glide.
Level 14 – They were able to float by themselves without flutter board. They practiced straightening their body and arms while putting their head into the water.
Level 13 – They practiced crawl with their flutter board. The kids were taught to lean sideways while taking a breath.
Level 12 and Level 11 – This group practiced crawl without flutter board. They practiced leaning sideways and holding their breath, as well.
Level 6 – This level practiced both crawl and breast stroke. They were taught how to properly kick their legs.
