Swimming Class

Class Crab A started with sitting kicks to get used to the water. Then, they practiced facing down for 5 seconds, crab and crocodile jumps, and foot kicking.

In 14th-grade and Frog A and B class, the students learned how to use a kickboard to improve their kicking technique. The students could move forward more efficiently by flapping their feet against the water. They became more comfortable with the kickboard with practice, and their kicking skills improved significantly. They used their shoulders and kicked their legs while facing downwards towards the water to stay afloat.

Class 13A and 14B practiced different swimming techniques to improve their skills. These techniques included sitting kick, crab jumping, leg kicking, solo floating, plank kick, surface kick, jumping, kicking, crab, face-up board kick, face plank kick, land pull, underwater pull, and plate pull. The aim was to enhance their overall swimming abilities.

Class 11B began with pre-breathing exercises involving deep breathing before diving into the water. They moved on to side breathing, where they learned how to inhale air while turning their head to the side while swimming. Then, they practiced a one-handed crawl with a board, which involved paddling one hand while holding onto a floating board.

Class 12A, 12B, and 13B practiced face-up board kicks and one-handed and two-handed crawls with boards. They focused on decisive flapping strokes while rotating their arms to swim. Their speed and efficiency increased in the water, and they felt more confident and capable in their swimming abilities.

In Class 8A and 9A, the students performed their kicking techniques with great care and precision. They used one-handed glide kicks while floating with their head up and rotating their arms.

Class 7B executed the backstroke by coordinating the movement of their arms and legs while keeping their face above water. They also practiced the plank kick, a leg exercise done by holding onto the pool’s edge.
