Swimming Lessons

In the Crab Class, children practiced putting their faces in the water and doing the crocodile walk. Some new children were able to try these techniques with the help of the coach. During playtime, they were able to play with their favorite toys without crying.

In the Frog Class, children practiced putting their faces in the water and floating using kickboards. They were able to swim while focusing on keeping their bodies straight by pushing off the platform.

In the Level 14 Class, children practiced floating on their own. They were able to swim while focusing on keeping their bodies straight, floating, and lifting their faces after touching the bottom with their feet.

In the Level 12 and Level 11 Classes, children practiced one-arm rotations and side breathing. They swam while focusing on maintaining balance and breathing sideways.

This was the first swimming lesson of the new school year. Some of the new children cried, but by the end of the lesson, they had gotten used to it and were able to play with toys and relax in the water.
