Star Festival

The children came to the school wearing their own Jinbe looking excited. They looked around the room, which was decorated with lanterns and bamboo, with their wishes written on strips of paper and the decorations made with origami with great delight.

They handed their tickets to the teachers to play games such as shooting, drawing lots, and toy fishing. They looked happy when they saw the prizes they won.

At lunch, the children used their chopsticks with serious expressions on their faces to try to scoop up as many noodles as they could to eat. They ate a lot and said, “I’m full” with satisfaction. During the watermelon smashing game, children in blind fold followed the calls and instructions of the others while moving slowly from left to right and struck the sticks at the watermelon. When the watermelon was smashed, everyone cheered and was overjoyed. They ate the broken watermelon as a snack. It was a very fun Star Festival.
