In math class, the 2^nd graders learned about length over 100cm. After they learned the unit of meter, they tried cutting tape in the length that they think is 1m long.

They then measured those pieces of tape and checked their lengths. They were so surprised to find the difference between what they thought and an actual 1m.

After that, they measured a lot of things around them such as the width of the classroom door, the height of the locker and the width of the whiteboard. They were therefore able to develop a sense of length through this lesson.
