On June 11^th (Friday) we visited Nisshin City Hall as part of our General Studies and Social Studies courses.

3^rd and 4^th grade are studying about garbage and recycling. They asked the staff at City Hall questions that were on their mind and the staff were kind enough to take them to visit Nisshin’s ‘Eco Dome’ recycling hall.

5^th and 6^th grade had questions about earthquakes. While showing a map of the evacuation areas in Nisshin City, the staff gave us detailed explanations of what to do. The 5^th and 6^th grade were able to understand ways in which we can help foreign residents if a natural disaster happens in our area. It was a short, but very meaningful experience for everyone.
