2nd Graders have been learning about “Hello from the window!” in Arts and Crafts. On that day, they learnt how to use a cutter knife properly and tried it out for themselves. Everyone was a little nervous as they listened to the teacher’s explanation.

They were taught that the blade of the cutter should only come out when you are using it, to be careful with the thumb of the hand that is not holding the knife and to cut from the top down.

We gradually got used to using the cutter knife and were able to cut smoothly. We had a lot of fun making all sorts of different windows and we hope that all the 2nd Grade students will continue to try their hand at making fun and safe things!
