We’re all looking forward to Setsubun coming up on Wednesday 2^nd February, so we made some boxes to hold our beans.

Keeping with Japanese tradition we folded some thick paper into the shape of Oni’s faces. Even if we got a little confused with some of the more difficult origami instructions our teachers and friends helped us along the way and in the end we all made great boxes and drew the faces of our Oni on them.  We showed each other what we’d made and there was lost of excitement about throwing our beans when the time comes! We hope the weather is nice and we can all have a great time during Setsubun!
