The 4th and 5th graders made good use of their practice to host the Tanabata event.

First, we sang a Tanabata song, and then Mr. Wafa told us about the story of Tanabata, followed by a Tanabata quiz. The students wrote their wishes on strips of paper in English and Japanese, and decorated the bamboo branches with Tanabata ornaments they had made during their arts and crafts class. We hope that this kind of exchange between all grades will become a learning experience for the children.
