We conducted an evacuation drill simulating a fire. When the children heard the announcement that a fire had broken out in the home economics room, they crouched low and were able to quickly evacuate the area. On the field, staff practiced using fire extinguishers. Afterwards, we received an explanation about the functions of the fire engine. The children were very interested in the tools and tools they don’t normally see. I hope they will remember this training and use it in the event of an actual fire.
