Vegetable cultivation
After each grade finished observing plants in their life studies and science classes, all students began growing vegetables in the empty spaces in the garden. Each grade discussed and decided what vegetables they wanted to grow. When preparing the garden, both older and younger students tilled the soil, made furrows, and even sowed the seeds themselves. The students in charge are responsible for watering the plants every day. The komatsuna and hatsuka radishes that students planted have already begun to sprout beautifully. We hope they can continue to carefully nurture them until the day of harvest.
