AKS Elementary

field trip

The students went on a field trip to The Nagoya Port Public Aquarium.

When they arrived, they split into teams following their respective leaders. They were able to see giant beluga fish, orcas, jellyfish, deep sea creatures and a lot of exotic sea animals that they don’t usually get the chance to see often.

After that, they went on the Japanese Icebreaker Fuji, where they witnessed the what would have been crew’s daily activities and lodges represented by realistic-looking figures.

It was a really informative experience where the students learned about sea life and got a glimpse of history on an important Japanese sea vessel.
