We held the opening ceremony for the third term. When the students arrived at school in the morning, they immediately started sharing their fun memories of the winter break, including New Year’s. At the opening ceremony, the principal told the students to set their own goals and work hard at their studies for the third term, which marks the end of the school year. They also played with battledore and shuttlecock during school activities. Although it was the first time for all the students to try it and some of them seemed to struggle, they were able to experience traditional Japanese culture.
