The topic of the 3^rd grade science experiment was called “Turn on the Lights”.  The topic of the 4^th grade science experiment was called “The State and Temperature of Water”.

In the 3^rd grade, we turned on a mini light bulb by connecting a wire to a dry cell battery.  We thought of many ways of connecting them so the light would turn on.  Every time the light would come on, the student would show excitement while trying to figure out other methods to turn on the mini light bulb.

In the 4^th grade, we used various pieces of science lab equipment to see how water turned into ice, and how boiling water turned into steam.  We would carefully observe and record our findings.  Since water is a vital part of our daily life, they found these experiments with water very intriguing.
