2月３日の節分を前に今日は全児童で節分行事を行いました。

紙で豆箱を折り、節分についての紙芝居を見たり、年の数分の炒り大豆を食べたりと日本の伝統行事を楽しんでいるところに鬼が登場！!　鬼が誰だかわかっていてもやはり近づかれると怖い様で逃げ回りながらもしっかりと「鬼は外！！」と鬼に向けて豆を投げていました。

Today we had a special event for setsubun.

The students celebrated Japanese culture by making bean boxs, watching a small picture story-show, and eating soybeans. We also had a surprise visit from a couple of oni. Even though the students knew who the oni were, they still ran and screamed and yelled, “oni ha soto” while they pelted them with soybeans.
