学校行事の中で大きなイベントの一つでもある学習発表会を行いました。

前日まで１ヶ月頑張った練習を保護者の前で発表することに意気込んでいた児童でしたが、舞台の幕前でスタンバイをすると「緊張する～」と友達同士小声で言う姿がみられました。

しかし幕が開くと、みんな演奏、プレゼンテーション、合唱に集中をして堂々と披露することができていました。全てを終えて控室へ戻ると「はあ～、終わったー！」とそれぞれに体を伸ばしたり友達と抱き合ったりして達成感を味わっていました。本当によく頑張りました！！

Today we had our biggest even of the year, the academic presentation. The students practiced hard for over a month, but shouts of “I’m nervous” could still be seen on the day. When the curtain opened however, every one focus on the presentation and did their best. After finishing, they all ran to hug their friends and yelled out, “We’re finally finished!” They all did a great job!
