Today the children got the chance to experience mochitsuki.  After helping fuel the fire with wood, they all got a chance to use the kine to flatten the rice and prepare the mochi.  After that, everyone helped add toppings for everyone to enjoy.  All of the students had a great time and enjoyed lots of delicious mochi.
