This week, dentists from a local clinic came to the school to show the 1st graders and 5 year old Whale class how to properly brush and take care of their teeth.  After showing them what happens when they do not brush their teeth, they then had the students use a special liquid that turned red in the spots where their teeth were dirty. The students were able to see firsthand how dirty their teeth were and hopefully gained some motivation for taking care of them better in the future.
