For most students, Japanese is their first language and it is easier for them to speak Japanese rather than English. However, AKS students are trying to use and speak English more and more to improve their English skills. 6th grade students have made a presentation to the lower grades about how important it is to speak English at all times, and also how useful it will be to be able to fluently speak English in the near future.

 

Students are evaluating themselves on how much English they have spoken every day. Teachers are preparing games as well as encouraging students to use English more and more.
